I just saw a bunch of olympic silver on apmex and it was selling for a majorly low margin over spot. You might check the coin mags at the bookstore, or, check completed auctions at ebay for such items. you have to do "advanced search" for that function.

If you mean this set. On E-bay they go for $190 to $210 maybe.

Right now, the currency value drives the price of these sets.

But, you have two other plays while owning these sets for a total of 3 ways the value can rise.

1. Currency value
2. Silver content value
3. Nuisimatic value

I saw a set for sale in a junk shop for $275 and was thinking of offering $200 bucks, splitting them, up an ebaying them and then throwing away the case.

Well, the individual ones of this set go for around $24...maybe a bit more.

But, I don't think they sell as well as the whole set.

I'd be offering around maybe $180 for the set. As I said, the main driver of the value of the set is the currency value. Currently that puts $200 CAN at $188 USD.
